Terms of use
Using TrestlePDF means accepting what follows. It is short on purpose.

The service
TrestlePDF offers tools for working with PDF files. It is free to use and paid for by advertising. There is no account to create and nothing to subscribe to.
What you may upload
You must have the right to the files you process. Do not use the site for material that is illegal where you are, that infringes somebody's copyright, or that you have no permission to handle.
The tools are for people using them by hand. Do not script the site, do not run it as part of a service of your own, and do not try to work around the limits below.
Limits
Free use is capped, and the caps are these:
- Up to 100 MB for a single file.
- Up to 500 pages in a document.
- Up to 20 files in one job.
- Up to 30 jobs a day.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that a tool will produce the result you wanted, that it will be available when you need it, or that it will not have a fault in it. PDF files vary enormously and some of them defeat any tool.
Keep your own copy of anything that matters. Your files are deleted within two hours and cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site — including lost files, lost work or lost profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid to use the site, which is nothing.
Availability and blocking
We may change or withdraw a tool, and we may block traffic that is abusing the service or breaking these terms. Neither requires notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by TO BE SET: governing law and venue. The operator is TO BE SET: registered name of the operating entity, TO BE SET: postal address for legal notices.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that is how you accept the new version.
