There is no account to create, no watermark stamped across the result and no daily limit for ordinary use. Frequently asked questions
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Merging runs entirely in your browser, so the files never leave your device. Only unusually large jobs fall back to a server, and those files are deleted within two hours.
- Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
- You can merge up to 20 files at a time, and up to 100 MB per file. That covers almost every everyday document.
- Does merging change the quality of my PDF?
- No. Pages are copied across exactly as they are. Nothing is re-encoded, re-compressed or resized, so text stays sharp and images stay untouched.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no watermark on the result.
- What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
- Pages, text and images come across exactly as they are, but a merged file loses the document outline and its fillable form fields stop being fillable. If you need a form to stay interactive, keep that file on its own.
