Open the document, say which pages you want, and the new PDF is assembled in your browser by the same engine that renders the preview. You can pull out a single range, cut a report into one file per chapter, or break a scanned bundle into individual pages. Because nothing is uploaded, a bank statement or an employment contract never touches a server you do not control, and there is no queue to wait in. The pages you keep are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and images stay untouched. No account, no watermark, no daily limit for normal use. Very large documents fall back to a sandboxed server job whose files are deleted within two hours.

- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. Splitting runs in your browser, so the document never leaves your device. Only unusually large files fall back to a server, and those are deleted within two hours.
- Can I split one PDF into many separate files?
- Yes. Choose to split every page, or enter several ranges, and each range becomes its own PDF.
- Will splitting reduce the quality?
- No. The pages you keep are copied unchanged. Nothing is re-encoded or resized.
- What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
- Pages, text and images come across exactly as they are. The document outline is not carried over, and a fillable form field stops being fillable, so keep a form you still need to fill in as it is.
